Buckingham Jack & Slide Systems give you a safer, simpler way to move heavy equipment when space is limited or a crane isn’t practical. Built and tested in the USA—and used daily by our team in the field—each system is configured to your load, site constraints, and rigging plan so you can position transformers, switchgear, machinery, and other sensitive assets with confidence.

Quick Handling on site

50-ton, 10,000-psi cylinders advance and retract to move the load forward or back with precise control—no “commitment” moves.

A 2" steel slide topped with¼" stainless and an oil-impregnated nylon shoe base delivers a smooth, controlled glide while resisting wear and contamination.

Spring-loaded auto-reset pins lock every2' on center and automatically reset as the cylinders cycle, adding a mechanical layer of safety between strokes.

6" high-strength I-beam slides(span oil-containment ditches and uneven gaps) with 2" low-profile plates (lightweight, ideal for ramp tops/bottoms) to match the job.

Detachable push cylinder & shoe pin together for use and separate for easy manhandling; screw-in lifting rings and an optional fork plate speed staging and repositioning.

Buckingham's load shoe is the only one of its kind in the hydraulic slide industry, with a no-slip, low-maintenance shoe base surface for a safe, controlled slide.

Spring-loaded auto-reset pins lock into place every 2' on center and are automatically reset by the jack & slide cylinders.

Our slides have a stainless steel slide surface and are available in 6" standard I-beam profile and 2" low profile slides

Our 50-ton, 10,000-psi cylinders effortlessly push or pull heavy loads over the slide beams and can be removed from the beams for ease of handling.

Buckingham's easy beam connection system allows our hydraulic slides to be easily customizable for varying work environments.

Screw-in lifting rings make it easy to move or reposition Buckingham plates and beams.

Our fork plate provides another option for moving Buckingham plates and beams.
